The present invention relates to novel methods and compositions related to polymer concrete comprising conventional resins with novel additives to prevent shrinking and cracking of the resin, to accelerate curing and to treat fillers. These compositions and methods can be employed to form large objects and objects of irregular shapes. These compositions and methods provide lightweight materials some of which are hard and inflexible, while others are hard and flexible.

L'invention concerne de nouveaux procédés et compositions se rapportant à un ciment polymère qui comprend des résines traditionnelles avec de nouveaux additifs destinés à prévenir le rétrécissement et le fendillement de la résine, à accélérer le séchage et à traiter des charges. Ces compositions et procédés peuvent être utilisés pour former de gros objets ainsi que des objets de forme irrégulière ; ils permettent également d'obtenir des matériaux légers dont certains sont durs et rigides alors que d'autres sont durs et souples.
