The present invention relates to novel methods and compositions related to polymer concrete comprising conventional resins with novel additives to prevent shrinking and cracking of the resin, to accelerate curing and to treat fillers. These compositions and methods can be employed to form large objects and objects of irregular shapes. These compositions and method provide lightweight materials some of which are hard and inflexible, while others are hard and flexible.
