The present invention provides novel polymers comprising a plurality of dihydroxy aromatic moieties and at least one polyalkyl moiety. In one embodiment of the present invention, the polymer is represented by formula (I) wherein R = a polyalkyl group and n is an integer from 2 to about 50. In another embodiment of the present invention, the polymer is represented by the formula (II)AxPy, where A is an aromatic dihydroxy moiety and P is a polyalkyl moiety.
L'invention concerne des polymères nouveaux ayant une pluralité de fractions aromatiques dihydroxy et au moins une fraction polyalkyle. Selon une variante, le polymère est représenté par la formule (I). Dans ladite formule, R est un groupe polyalkyle et n est un entier compris entre 2 et 50 environ. Selon une autre variante, le polymère est représenté par la formule (II) A¿x?P¿y?. Dans ladite formule, A est une fraction aromatique dihydroxy et P est une fraction polyalkyle.
