A novel polypeptide originating in Hemophilus paragallinarum which is useful in inhibiting chick infectious coryza. The above-mentioned polypeptide which induces the HI antibody production so as to prevent the infection and onset of chick infectious coryza; a gene encoding this polypeptide; a recombinant vector for expressing this gene; a host transformed by this vector; a process for the production of the polypeptide by the host; a chick infectious coryza vaccine containing as the main ingredient the above-mentioned polypeptide; a monoclonal antibody obtained by using the polypeptide as the immunogen; and diagnostic agents and remedies for chick infectious disease with the use of the above-mentioned polypeptide and antibody.
Un nouveau polypeptidetiré de Hemophilus paragallinarum est utile pour inhiber le coryza infectieux du poulet. L'invention concerne le polypeptide précité induisant la production d'anticorps HI de manière à prévenir l'infection et le début du coryza infectieux du poulet; un gène codant ce polypeptide, un vecteur recombiné d'expression de ce gène; un hôte transformé par ce vecteur; un procédé de production du polypeptide par l'hôte; un vaccin contre le coryza infectieux du poulet contenant comme ingredient principal le polypeptide précité; un anticorps monoclonal obtenu à l'aide du polypeptide en temps qu'immunogène et des agents de diagnostic ainsi que des remèdes contre des maladies infectieuses du poulet à l'aide du polypeptide et de l'anticorps précités.
