The present invention relates to primers that specifically hybridize to nucleic acid molecules complementary to the messenger RNA transcribed from genes encoding MAGE tumor-specific antigens or a part thereof or to a complementary strand thereof encoding MAGE tumor-specific antigens as well as to diagnostic compositions comprising said antigens. The present invention further relates to methods for detecting disseminated tumor cells employing the primers of the invention as well as methods for preparing a tumor adjuvant vaccine.

La présente invention concerne des amorces qui s'hybrident, de manière spécifique, à des molécules d'acide nucléique complémentaires de l'ARN messager transcrit à partir de gènes codant les antigènes spécifiques de la tumeur MAGE ou une partie de ce dernier, ou à un brin complémentaire de celui-ci codant les antigènes spécifiques de la tumeur MAGE ainsi que des compositions de diagnostic comprenant ces antigènes. La présente invention concerne, en outre, des procédés pour détecter des cellules tumorales disséminées utilisant les amorces selon l'invention ainsi que des procédés pour préparer un vaccin adjuvant contre la tumeur.
