The invention relates to a novel method for the preparation of azetidine derivatives such as N-{1-[bis-(4-chlorophenyl)methyl]azetidin-3-yl}-N-quinol-6-yl- methylsulphonamide and the dichlorhydrate thereof and N-{1-[bis-(4-chlorophenyl)methyl]azetidin-3-yl}-N-(3,5-difluorophenyl)-methylsulphonamide.
