Novel compounds effective in inhibiting the inflammatory symptom characteristic of nephritis and a nephritic remedy comprising any of the novel compounds as the active ingredient. The novel compounds are purine derivatives represented by general formula (I) (wherein R1 represents a hydrocarbon group having up to 17 carbon atoms and R2 represents a hydrocarbon group having up to 16 carbon atoms, provided that in each hydrocarbon group, at least one CH2 not directly bonded to the methylene group on the 2-position carbon atom or 7- position nitrogen atom of the purine ring has been replaced with any of carbonyl, sulfonyl, oxygen, and sulfur, and/or at least one CH not directly bonded to that methylene group has been replaced with any of nitrogen, carbon- halogeno, and C-CN) or pharmacologically acceptable salts thereof.
La présente invention concerne, d'une part des composés constituant des inhibiteurs satisfaisants des manifestations inflammatoires caractéristiques de la néphrite, et d'autre part un médicament utilisable en néphrologie et dont le principe actif est l'un des composés de l'invention. Ces composés sont des dérivés purine représentés par la formule générale (I) ou certains de leurs sels admis en pharmacie. En l'occurrence, R?1¿ est un groupe hydrocarbure portant jusqu'à 17 atomes de carbone. R?2¿ est un groupe hydrocarbure portant jusqu'à 16 atomes de carbone. Toutefois, dans chaque groupe hydrocarbure, l'un au moins des CH¿2? non directement liés au groupe méthylène sur l'atome de carbone en position 2 ou l'atome d'azote en position 7 du cycle purine, a été remplacé par l'un au moins des carbonyle, sulfonyle, oxygène et soufre. En outre, l'un au moins des CH non directement liés à ce groupe méthylène a été remplacé par l'un quelconque des azote, carbone-halogène et C-C?N.
