The present invention relates to a novel intermediate material for being combined with a thermosetting resin for the production of composite parts, said material consisting of a one-way layer of carbon fibres with a mass per unit area of 100 to 280 g/m2, combined, on each of the surfaces thereof, with a web of thermoplastic fibres having a thickness of 0.5 to 50 microns, preferably from 3 to 35 microns, the intermediate material having a total thickness of 80 to 380 microns, preferably from 90 to 320 microns. The invention further relates to a method for manufacturing composite parts using such a material and to the resulting composite parts.

La présente invention concerne un nouveau matériau intermédiaire, destiné à être associé à une résine thermodurcissable pour la réalisation de pièces composites, constitué d'une nappe unidirectionnelle de fibres de carbone présentant une masse surfacique de 100 à 280 g/m2, associée, sur chacune de ses faces, à un voile de fibres thermoplastiques présentant une épaisseur de 0,5 à 50 microns, de préférence de 3 à 35 microns, le matériau intermédiaire présentant une épaisseur totale de 80 à 380 microns, de préférence de 90 à 320 microns, ainsi qu'un procédé de fabrication de pièces composites à partir d'un tel matériau et les pièces composites ainsi obtenues.
