The invention relates to novel seco compounds from a class of tylosins represented by a general formula I (see fig. I) wherein R stands for H or CH3, R1 stands for H, CH3, C1-C3 acyl or aryl sulfonyl, R2 stands for H and R3 stands for NH2 or OH, or R2 and R3 together stand for O or NOH, R4 stands for H or C1-C3 acyl, and the line - - - - stands for a double or a single bond, and to a process for their preparation. By the reaction of oximation of 4'-demicarosyl-8a-aza-8a-homorelomycin a breaking of lactams occurs and the obtained seco compound can optionally be subjected to reactions of reductive N-alkylation or to a conversion of hydroxyimino group into keto group and then optionally to N- or N,O-acylation, a catalytical hydrogenation of the double bond or a reduction of the ketone or a reduction of the hydroxyimino group into amino group.

Cette invention concerne de nouveaux composés seco provenant d'une famille de tylosines représentées par la formule générale I (voir figure I), dans laquelle : R représente H ou CH3; R1 représente H, CH3, un aryl-sulfonyle ou un acyl-sulfonyle en C1-C3; R2 représente H; R3 représente NH2 ou OH, ou bien R2 et R3 représentent ensemble O ou NOH; R4 représente H ou un acyle en C1-C3; et la ligne - - - - représente une liaison simple ou double. Elle a aussi trait à un procédé pour leur préparation. On dissocie des lactames à l'aide de la réaction d'oximation de la 4'-demicarosyl-8a-aza-8a-homorélomycine, le composé seco ainsi obtenu peut facultativement être soumis à des réactions de N-alkylation réductrice ou à une conversion du groupement hydroxy-imino en groupement cétone, suivie facultativement d'une N-acylation ou d'une N,O-acylation, d'une hydrogénation catalytique de la double liaison ou d'une réduction du groupement cétone, ou d'une réduction du groupement hydroxy-imino en groupement amino.
