(PROBLEMES) La présente invention concerne la production d'une nouvelle substance présentant une activité inhibant l'alpha-glucosidase, dérivée de produits naturels et dépourvue de risque, cette substance ayant non seulement une activité améliorant la glycémie, efficace pour prévenir ou traiter le diabète ou l'obésité, mais également une activité réduisant l'hyperglycémie postprandiale et autres; et la production d'un aliment contenant cette substance. (MOYENS DE RESOLUTION DES PROBLEMES) On a mis au point une substance présentant une activité inhibant l'alpha-glucosidase qui est représentée par la formule (I).
