Described are triazolopyrimidones of the formula (I) in which A, B and X are as defined in the description, plus their preparation and use. Such compounds are suitable for use in the treatment of disorders of the central nervous system, in particular conditions caused by acute or chronic disorders of the circulation and/or of cell metabolism, such as ischaemic cerebral insults, vascular encephalopathy and resulting demential illnesses, epilepsy, Parkinson's disease, depression, migraine, as well as traumatic lesions of the brain and spinal cord.
