The use of an oral care composition comprising particulate zinc oxide (suitably in nanop articulate form) optionally in the presence of a source of fluoride ions is described for combating dental erosion and/or tooth wear. Such compositions are also of use in combating dental caries.
Cette invention concerne l'utilisation d'une composition de soin bucco-dentaire comprenant de l'oxyde de zinc sous forme particulaire (avantageusement préparé sous forme nanoparticulaire), éventuellement en présence d'une source d'ions fluorures, pour combattre l'érosion dentaire et/ou l'usure des dents. De telles compositions permettent également de combattre les caries dentaires.
