The present invention relates to the use of an antisecretory protein or homologues therof having the same properties, or certain fragments thereof in the manufacture of a medicament or a medical food for inducing improved rescue of injured or diseased nervous tissue, proliferation, apoptosis, differentiation and/or migration of an embryonic stem cell, adult stem cell, progenitor cell and/or a cell derived from a stem cell or progenitor cell, for treating a condition characterised by or associated with loss and/or gain of cells. In a preferred embodiment, the condition is a neurotrauma or a condition or disease of the CNS and/or PNS and/or ANS, for example, Alzheimer's disease.
La présente invention concerne l'utilisation d'une protéine antisécrétoire ou des homologues de celle-ci présentant les mêmes propriétés, ou certains fragments de cette protéine, pour élaborer un médicament ou un aliment thérapeutique permettant d'induire une meilleure réparation d'un tissu nerveux lésé ou malade, la prolifération, l'apoptose, la différenciation et/ou la migration d'une cellule souche embryonnaire, d'une cellule souche adulte, d'une cellule progénitrice et/ou d'une cellule provenant d'une cellule souche ou d'une cellule progénitrice, de traiter un état caractérisé ou associé à la perte et/ou au gains de cellules. Dans un mode de réalisation privilégié, l'état est un trauma neurologique ou un état ou une maladie du système nerveux central et/ou du système nerveux périphérique et/ou du système nerveux autonome, par exemple, la maladie d'Alzheimer.
