An X-ray-intercepting gold complex of mono-L-aspartyl (or mono-L-glutamyl) chlorin e6 or a salt thereof is provided, as such novel X-ray-intercepting metal complex of the chlorin e6 derivative, which is capable of affording sharp X-ray image of tumor, solid cancer or lesions of arteriosclerosis by X-ray radiography and is capable of making the therapy of the tumor, cancer or arteriosclerosis lesions by X-ray irradiation. Similar platinum complex can also be prepared in a similar manner.

L'invention concerne des complexes intercepteurs de rayons X à base d'or de mono-L-aspartyle(ou mono-L-glutamyle) chlore e6 et leurs sels qui peuvent provoquer des lésions de tumeurs, de cancers solides et d'artérioscléroses dont on peut obtenir des images contrastées par radiographie, ce qui permet de traiter les lésions par rayons X. On peut également préparer des complexes similaires à base de platine par procédés similaires.
