Improved photoimaged nozzle members for a micro-fluid ejection head, micro- fluid ejection heads containing such nozzle members, and methods for making any of the same. One such nozzle member is provided by a photoresist nozzle layer applied adjacent a thick film layer on a substrate having fluid ejector actuators. The photoresist nozzle layer has a plurality of nozzles therein. The nozzles are formed in the nozzle layer from an exit surface of the nozzle layer to an entrance surface of the nozzle layer. The nozzles have a reentrant hole profile with a wall angle greater than about 4~ up to about 30~ measured from an axis orthogonal to a plane defined by the exit surface of the nozzle layer.
Ajutages améliorés, obtenus par tirage photographique et conçus pour une tête d'éjection microfluidique, têtes d'éjection microfluidique contenant ces ajutages et procédés servant à fabriquer ceux-ci. Cet ajutage est produit par une couche de résine photosensible qu'on applique en position contiguë à une couche mince sur un substrat possédant des organes d'éjection de fluide. Cette couche d'ajutage de résine photosensible possède une pluralité d'ajutages. Ces ajutages sont constitués dans la couche d'ajutage depuis une surface de sortie de ladite couche jusqu'à une surface d'entrée de ladite couche. Ces ajutages présentent un profil d'orifice rentrant dont l'angle de paroi est supérieur à 4° maximum à 30° mesuré depuis un axe orthogonal à un plan défini par la surface de sortie de la couche d'ajutage.
