2119785 9221045 PCTABS00017 A system for Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Logging is used to obtain data of petrophysical parameters. Logging tool (16) is placed adjacent formations (12, 14). An MRI probe (32) suspended at the bottom of tool (16) is used to measure spin-echo data. A chain of spin-echo signals is used to derive petrophysical characteristics based on the selection of spin-echo time windows.
