The invention comprises a method for constructing a repertoire of oligomers differentiable by mass, providing a heterogeneous pool of monomers, wherein said monomers are modified by addition of one or more of a selection of mass labels; optionally, providing a heterogeneous pool of unlabelled monomers; determining the monomer sequences of the oligomers to be represented in the repertoire and calculating the number and nature of the mass labels to be incorporated into each monomer such that each oligomer differs in mass; and assembling a plurality of labelled monomers and, optionally, one or more unlabelled monomers, to form the oligomers.

La présente invention concerne un procédé destiné à la réalisation d'une banque d'oligomères différentiables par leur masse, consistant à utiliser un bassin hétérogène de monomères, les monomères étant modifiés par addition d'un ou de plusieurs marqueurs de masse ; à utiliser éventuellement un bassin hétérogène de monomères non marqués ; à déterminer les séquences de monomères des oligomères à représenter dans la banque et à calculer le nombre et la nature des marqueurs de mass à introduire dans chaque monomère pour que chaque oligomère diffère en masse ; et à assembler une pluralité de monomères marqués et, éventuellement, un ou plusieurs monomères non marqués, pour former les oligomères.
