Phosphoramidate derivatives of nucleoside compounds of formula I derived from bases such as adenine and guanine have enhanced therapeutic potency, in particular, enhanced potency with respect to the prophylaxis or treatment of a viral infection such as hepatitis C virus. The glycoside moiety of the nucleoside compound is suitably substituted at the .beta.-2' position with methyl and the phosphoramidate group, suitably comprises 1-naphthyl linked by -O- to the P atom.
La présente invention concerne des dérivés phosphoramidate de composés de nucléosides dérivés de bases telles que l'adénine et la guanine, exerçant une activité thérapeutique améliorée, en particulier, une activité améliorée en ce qui concerne la prophylaxie ou le traitement d'une infection virale telle que le virus de l'hépatite C. Le fragment de glycoside du composé de nucléoside est substitué de manière appropriée en position .beta.-2' par un groupe méthyle et le groupe phosphoramidate comprend de manière appropriée un groupe 1-naphtyle lié par -O- à l'atome P.
