It is intended to provide a nucleoside or a nucleotide having a novel unnatural base. Namely, a nucleoside or a nucleotide having a 5-substituted-2- oxo(1H)-pyridin-3-yl group as a base. It is preferable that the base is substituted at the 5-position by a substituent selected from the group consisting of: 1) a photoreactive group selected from between iodine and bromine; 2) an alkenyl group, an alkynyl group, an amino group or a derivative thereof; 3) biotin or its derivative; and 4) a fluorescent molecule selected from among fluorescein, 6-carboxyfluorescein, tetramethyl-6-carboxyrhodamine and derivatives thereof.
L'invention porte sur un nucléoside ou un nucléotide ayant une nouvelle base non naturelle, notamment sur un nucléoside ou nucléotide ayant un groupe 5-substitué-2-oxo(1H)-pyridin-3-yl servant de base. Il est préférable que la base soit substituée à la position 5 par un substituant sélectionné dans le groupe comprenant : 1) un groupe photoréactif sélectionné entre l'iode et le bromure ; 2) un groupe alcényle, un groupe alkynyle, un groupe amino ou un dérivé de ceux-ci ; 3) une biotine ou son dérivé ; et 4) une molécule fluorescente sélectionnée parmi la fluorescéine, 6-carboxyfluorescéine, tétraméthyl-6-carboxyrhodamine et leurs dérivés.
