ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A pneumatic numeral printer for use in combination with a printing press or copier is disclosed. The printer comprises an upright pneumatic cylinder having a downwardly extending piston rod indirectly connected to a numeral stamping head. The cylinder is supported by a support arm which in turn is movably secured to a mounting bracket extending over the paper feed table of the press. The mounting bracket comprises a first transverse rod rigidly secured over the feed table and a second longitudinal rod slidably and lockingly engaged on the first rod. The lower end of the sup- port arm is secured to the second rod. The stamping head can be adjusted in height, in longitudinal and transverse location over the feed table, and angularly to the latter. An actuator is provided whereby the printer operates in automatic synchronism with the paper feeding mechanism of the press.
