An improved nursing blouse is provided herein. It includes a fabric member of flexible material covering the front of a woman's torso, the fabric having a pair of arch- shaped openings having planar side edges therein, each opening having a rounded top edge and planar side and bottom edges to enable access to the nipple of the breasts for feeding an infant. Each of the arch-shaped openings is surrounded by a breast overlying area, the breast overlying area having a bottom edge, top edge and a pair of side edges. A pocket is secured to each of the breast overlying areas, the pocket having a bottom edge, a top edge and a pair of side edges. The bottom edge is permanently secured to the bottom edge of the breast overlying area. The upper edge is open and overlies the top edge of the breast over- lying area. Means are provided for releasably securing the side edges of the pocket to the respective side edges of the breast overlying area. In this way, the pocket is enabled to swing downwardly from a closed position over- lying and closing the arch-shaped opening to an open position extending downwardly from the bottom edge of the arch-shaped opening to provide access to a nipple of a breast underlying the arch-shaped opening.
