A nutritional composition for infants comprises a protein source, a lipid source and a carbohydrate source wherein the lipid source includes at least 16 wt% linoleic acid and at least 2 wt% .alpha.-linolenic acid expressed as a percentage of total fatty acid content in each case and in amounts such that the ratio of linoleic acid: .alpha.-linolenic acid is in the range from 1 to 10.
La présente invention concerne une composition alimentaire pour nourrisson comprenant une source de protéines, une source de lipides et une source de glucides, ladite source de lipides comportant au moins 16 % en poids d'acide linoléique et au moins 2 % en poids d'acide a-linolénique, comme exprimé sous la forme d'un pourcentage de la teneur totale en acides gras dans chaque cas, et le rapport entre l'acide linoléique et l'acide a-linolénique se situant dans un intervalle de 1 à 10.
