A novel apparatus (10) for delivering a nutritive substance comprises a container body (14) having a base at one end thereof, an upper portion (12) adapted for removable receipt of a closure (16), the upper portion defining an opening (22) therein, and a chamber defined by the container body (14), the chamber being in fluid communication with the upper portion opening (22). A laminate seal (42) having at least two layers is bonded across the upper portion opening (22) and is adapted to provide an airtight seal across the opening (20). A nutritive substance is bonded to at least one layer of the laminate seal (42). The container (14) additionally comprises a closure (16) removably coupled to the upper portion (12). The closure (116) comprises a cutting portion (154) which is adapted to pierce the laminate seal (146), thereby releasing the nutritive substance into the container contents.
L'invention porte sur un nouvel appareil (10) pour distribuer une substance nutritive, lequel appareil comprend un corps de contenant (14) comportant une base à une extrémité de celui-ci, une partie supérieure (12) apte à la réception amovible d'une fermeture (16), la partie supérieure définissant une ouverture (22) à l'intérieur de celle-ci, et une chambre définie par le corps de contenant (14), la chambre étant en communication fluidique avec l'ouverture de partie supérieure (22). Un joint d'étanchéité stratifié (42) comportant au moins deux couches est fixé sur l'ouverture de partie supérieure (22) et est apte à assurer une étanchéité vis-à-vis de l'air sur l'ouverture (20). Une substance nutritive est fixée à au moins une couche du joint d'étanchéité stratifié (42). Le contenant (14) comprend en outre une fermeture (16) accouplée de façon amovible à la partie supérieure (12). La fermeture (116) comprend une partie de coupe (154) qui est apte à percer le joint d'étanchéité stratifié (146), de façon à libérer ainsi la substance nutritive dans le contenu du contenant.
