ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE This invention relates to compounds of the general formula I and pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof Image (I) wherein R2 hydrogen or alkyl having one to five carbon atoms; R3 is alkyl having one to five carbon atoms, cycloalkyl or phenyl optionally substituted with hydroxyl or phenyl; or R2 and R3 together form a five- to eight-membered ring optionally containing also other heteroatoms and/or fused with an other ring; R4 is cycloalkyl, aromatic or heteroaromatic group, optionally substituted with one or more halogens, alkoxy or alkyl and/or fused with an other ring, preferably phenyl, naphthyl, quinolyl, isoquinolyl, pyridyl, pyrazolyl; R5 is hydrogen or alkyl having one to four carbon atom cycloalkyl or phenyl optionally substituted with halogen, alkoxy having one to four carbon atoms or alkyl having one to four carbon atoms; R6 is hydrogen, alkyl having one to four carbon atoms or phenyl; m=0, 1 or 2; n = 0, 1 or 2. It also relates to a process for the preparation of these compounds. The compounds of formula I and their pharmaceutically acceptable salts are useful in treating diabetic angiopathy in mammals and in some instances are useful as hypotensive agents.
