TITLE: OARLOCK ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An oarlock including a clamp including a pair of jaws, each jaw having holes formed therethrough for receiving nut-equipped bolts for drawing up the clamp on an oar. A post for mounting the jaws for rotatable movement in a socket on the gunwhale of a boat together with a stop carried by the post. The jaws are pivotally mounted on the post by means of a pin in the form of a bolt adjacent the stop and at least one of the jaws having a cam surface for engagement with the stop for limiting the pivotal movement of the clamp on the post. -1-
