A software implemented system and method for automatically creating, destroying, and changing objects in remote devices. These objects are created and managed to provide visual representations in the forms of text and graphics in the remote devices, and they mirror the movements of objects residing in the central application server. This invention enables application servers to manage objects in mobile devices in real time, allowing the mobile devices to display a variety of applications without the need of possessing any specific knowledge of these applications themselves. Such remote object mirroring is effected by the installation of software agents in the remote devices, and by communication with these remote agents using a structured language-independent parsable text document, such as a markup language; e.g. XML.
