An apparatus for detecting obstructions of a flow line. A detector housing is provided having a cavity therein. The detector housing has first and second openings into the cavity. The flow line is attached to the detector housing establishing a flow path through the first opening, the cavity, and the second opening, respectively. A pressure detector detects changes in pressure within the cavity, indicating the presence of an obstruction.

La présente invention concerne un appareil à détecter des obstructions dans un tuyau d'écoulement. La cage du détecteur comporte une cavité, laquelle présente une première et une seconde ouverture. Le tuyau d'écoulement est relié à la cage du détecteur pour créer un trajet d'écoulement passant par la première ouverture, par la cavité et par la seconde ouverture, respectivement. Un détecteur de pression détecte les variations de pression à l'intérieur de la cavité, lesquelles indiquent la présence d'une obstruction.
