The invention relates to a process for obtaining data on hearing capacity by measuring distortion products of otoacoustic emissions (DPOAE), in which two primary tones with the frequencies f1 and f2 > f1 and sound pressure levels L1 and L2 and at least one sound with proportions of the frequency f3 and the sound pressure level L3 are applied as stimuli to the hearing organ and at least one distortion product of defined frequency is determined, where the value of f3 is close to the frequency of the distortion product.

L'invention a pour objet un procédé de détermination de données sur la capacité auditive, par mesure de produits de distortion d'émissions otoacoustiques (DPOAE), selon lequel deux tonalités primaires de fréquences f¿1? et f¿2? > f¿1? et de niveaux de pression acoustique L¿1? et L¿2?, ainsi qu'au moins un évènement sonore à proportions de fréquence f¿3? et à niveau de pression acoustique L¿3? sont appliqués sur l'organe de l'ouïe en tant que stimuli, et au moins un produit de distortion de fréquence définie est déterminé, f¿3? ayant une valeur proche de la fréquence du produit de distortion.
