The present invention pertains to a circu- latory system (10), such as a circulatory assist system for a patient (12). The system comprises a blood pump having tubing fluidically com- municating with a person's blood vessel. The blood pump (14) can be, for instance, a cen- trifugal blood pump but is not limited thereto. The system also comprises an occluder device (16) for controlling flow of the blood pump. The occluder device is in contact with the tub- ing of the blood pump. The occluder device can be incorporated into anti-kink sheath over the outlet graft tubing of the blood pump. Prefer- ably, the system comprises control means for actuating the occluder device when the blood pump malfunctions.
L'invention qui concerne le système circulatoire (10) porte sur un système d'assistance à la circulation pour un patient (12), ce système étant composé d'une hématopompe (14), non exclusivement de type centrifuge munie d'un obturateur (16) en contrôlant le débit, et de tubes en communication fluide avec les vaisseaux du patient. L'obturateur, monté sur l'un des tubes, peut être incorporé à une gaine non vrillable venant entourer le tube de départ de la pompe se greffant sur le système circulatoire. Ce système comprend de préférence un moyen de commande qui actionne l'obturateur en cas de mauvais fonctionnement de la pompe.
