ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The device for the occlusion of brain vessels comprises an occlusive bulb of an elastic material, Its thicker head portion accommodates a metal plug, while the tail portion a valve of the same material of the bulb itself is provided, through which the tip of a catheter is introduced. The pear-shaped value points inside the bulbs and its neck bears a spring element. When the bulb is drawn along an occluded vessel, with a better manoeuvrability, the bulb's cavity is more re- liably sealed after the catheter has been detached therefrom. - 1 -
