Abstract Devices and processes, commonly used in controlling odors of human wastes in washrooms, are designed to attack the odor-carrying gasses in the air space of a room. I this invention the emphasis is set, instead, on preventing odors from spreading into the air space of a room by deodor- izing these gasses at their source, i.e. the toilet bowl. To accomplish this, a number of electrical resistors are fastened on the bottom of a toilet seat, to provide the heat required for changing the composition of these highly unstable odor-carrying gasses, before allowing them to enter into the air space of a washroom.
