Abstract of the Disclosure The instant invention is directed to a process for the preparation of polyurethane resins by the reaction of compounds which contain at least two hydrogen atoms capable of reacting with isocyanates and having molecular weights of from 400 to 10,000, polyisocyanates and optionally chain lengthening agents, water and/or organic blowing agents in the presence of catalysts which contain tertiary nitrogen, the improvement wherein the catalyst used is a compound of the formula: Image wherein n represents 2 or 3; R represents a C1-C5 alkyl group; Y represents R or Image ; and Z represents C2H5 Image .
