ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE According to the present application, a modular office panelling system is disclosed which provides increased flexibility in office layout. Each panel is generally rectangular and securable to adjacent panels along the vertically opposing edges via a flexible plastic hinge. Stacked panels are secured as a unit by structural members which extend between the panels. These members are slidably received in endcaps of the panels thereby simplifying field installation of the system. Each panel of the system is designed about a steel framework which releasably supports decorative panels to either side of the framework. The framework has a number of apertures to allow wiring to pass therethrough, concealed by the decorative panels. In addition, the structure of the present panelling system permits the hanging of display cabinets and other equipment substantially along the entire upper edge of each panel.
