ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A device, particularly useful for thermal ink-jet printheads, for improving the repeatability of droplet volume is disclosed. Offsetting a nozzle from its corresponding ink heating element perpendicularly to the flow of ink across the element has been found to significantly reduce the ejected droplet volume deviation.
