ABSTRACT A constant-angle coupling is described for connecting two permanently offset elements rotatable about parallel axes of rotation. The coupling comprises two half- couplings which are connected together by means of a parallel rod transmission unit having relatively long, offset guide rods. Equalizing means are provided to compensate for devia- tions in axial offset resulting from the length of the guide rods. In one embodiment, one of the half-couplings consists of two parts which are interconnected, in turn, by means of a parallel rod transmission unit which has short guide rods rotatable in a common plane. Other embodiments effect the compensation through the adjustment of length of the offset guide rods.
