"Offshore load-handling system" ABSTRACT An A-frame (1) has a winch head (15) swingable from a cross member (4) and between its two arms (2,3). A docking member comprises an upper frame (20) depending, by means of hydraulic rams (18, 19), from the winch head (15) and a lower frame (23) swingable from the upper frame (20) about an axis perpendicular to the axis about which the winch head can swing from the cross-member (4). Guides (22,24) for a load-carrying line (17) are provided on the frames (20, 23).
