ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An offshore truss work type tower structure is disclosed which comprises a plurality of outer legs and at least one internal leg, all legs being arranged vertical and parallel and braced by bracings all joined with the legs at nodal points, wherein all bracings connected with outer legs have the same angle to the respective leg, extending upwards or downwards, all bracings extending between two legs have no further connections than with said two legs, each nodal point on an outer leg is arranged at a vertical level in the middle between two nodal point levels on adjacent legs, six bracings thereby being connected in each nodal point on outer legs, and bracings connected with the internal leg or legs in vertical nodal point levels corresponding to nodal point levels on all outer legs.
