An oil-based ink composition for a ballpoint pen which comprises a colorant, a resin, 0.01 to 1.5 wt % of a high polymerization degree polyvinyl butyral having a polymerization degree of 900 (calculated molecular weight: 60,000) or more, and a solvent selected from among an alcohol having a vapor pressure at 25°°C of 0.001 mmHg or higher, a polyhydric alcohol and a glycol ether as a main solvent accounting for 50 % or more of the total solvent; and an oil-based ink composition for a ballpoint pen which comprises a pigment, and polyvinyl butyral as a dispersant, and a solvent having a chemical structure of the formula (1): (1) wherein R1, R2 and R3 independently represent H or CH3. The former ink composition allows the suppression of dripping phenomenon through the control of inner cohesion of the ink, and the latter ink composition provides smooth feeling of writing and is excellent in fastness properties and the dispersion stability of the coloring pigment.
L'invention porte: (a) sur une composition à base d'huile pour stylo à bille comprenant: (i) un colorant; (ii) une résine; (iii) de 0,01 à 1,5 % en poids de butyral de polyvinyle à taux de polymérisation de 900 ou plus (et d'un poids moléculaire calculé de 60 000); (iv) un solvant choisi parmi un alcool présentant une pression de vapeur de 0,001 mmHg à 25 ·C et un alcool polyhydrique; et (v), en tant que solvant principal représentant 50 % ou plus du total des solvants, un éther glycol, et (b) sur une composition à base d'huile pour stylo à bille comprenant: (i) du butyral de polyvinyle en tant que dispersant, et (ii) un solvant de formule (I) dans laquelle: R¿1?, R¿2?, et R¿3? représentent indépendamment H ou CH¿3?. La composition (a) élimine les coulures en assurant la cohésion interne de l'encre, et la composition (b), qui procure une impression douce d'écriture, est excellente du point de vue de la rapidité et de la stabilité de dispersion du pigment.
