OIL COMPOSITIONS CONTAINING HIGH AND LOW MOLECULAR WEIGHT POLY(DIMETHYLSILOXANE) ABSTRACT Compositions useful as lubricants or hydraulic fluids are described which consist of a hydrocarbon oil having a Saybolt seconds universal viscosity at 100°F of from 30 to 500 and a flash point greater than 175°F blended with a mixture of a low viscosity poly(dimethylsiloxane) having a viscosity of from 5 to 1000 centistokes at 25°C and a high viscosity poly(dimethylsiloxane) having a viscosity of from 10,000 to 1,000,000 centistokes at 25°C.
