A process for preparing a binder comprising a heterocondensate of silicon compounds and metal or boron compounds, in which a hydrolysable silicon compound having a nonhydrolysable polymerizable group as Si component is mixed with water to form a hydrolysis product and a metal or boron compound in which the metal is selected from among Al, Ga, In, Tl, Ge, Ga, Sn, Pb, Ti, Zr, Hf, Sc, Y and La is then added to the hydrolysis product at a point in time which is in the range from 15 s to 15 min after mixing of the hydrolysable silicon compounds with the water, is described. This gives homogeneous heterocondensates which when used as binders give excellent resistance and strength. The binders are highly suitable for strengthening geological formations and beds of granular material which are used in oil and gas recovery to keep the sources open.
L'invention concerne un procédé de production d'un liant comprenant un produit d'hétérocondensation de composés de silicium et de composés de métaux ou de bores, dans lequel un composé de silicium hydrolysable est mélangé comportant un groupe polymérisable non hydrolysable en tant que composant Si avec de l'eau afin de former un produit hydrolysé et ensuite un composé de métal ou de bore, le métal étant choisi parmi Al, Ga, In, Tl, Ge, Ga, Sn, Pb, Ti, Zr, Hf, Sc, Y et La, est ajouté au produit hydrolysé à un moment qui se situe entre 15 secondes et 15 minutes après le mélangeage du composé de silicium hydrolysable avec l'eau. Ceci donne des produits d'hétérocondensation homogènes qui en tant que liants présentent une résistance et une solidité excellentes. Ces liants conviennent préférentiellement pour la consolidation de formations géologiques et des granulats déversés qui sont utilisés dans la production pétrolière et gazière pour maintenir les puits dégagés.
