ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: An oil-in-water pesticidal emulsion which comprises one or more of hydrocarbons represented by the formula, Image wherein X1, X2, Y1, Y2, Z1 and Z2, which may be the same or different, represent a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having two or less carbon atoms, R1 and R2, which may be the same or different, represent a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, and n represents 0 or 1, in an oil-in-water pesticidal emulsion containing an active ingredient having a pesticidal activity, of which the melting point is 0°C or higher and the solubility at 0°C in the hydrocarbons represented by the above formula is 10 wt. % or more (when two or more active ingredients are used together, said melting point and solubility shall be those of a mixture of these active ingredients).
