The invention concerns new oil-in-water emulsions that are stable and have a pH level less than or equal to 3.5, particularly those with a pH level of 3 or less, the said emulsions comprising as a stabilizing agent a crosslinked anionic copolymer that is essentially water soluble and is constituted of patterns derived from the reaction between (i) acrylamide, (ii) 2-acrylamido-2-methyl propane sulfonic acid, and (iii) at least one polyunsaturated olefin compound (crosslinking agent), the said compound being present in the copolymer at a concentration of between 0.06 and 1 millimole per mole of the complex of monomer patterns. It also concerns cosmetic and/or pharmaceutical compounds comprising such emulsions.

L'invention concerne de nouvelles émulsions de type huile-dans-eau, à la fois stables et de pH inférieur ou égal 3,5, en particulier de pH inférieur ou égal à 3, lesdites émulsions comprenant à titre d'agent stabilisant un copolymère anionique réticulé substantiellement soluble dans l'eau et constitué de motifs dérivant de la réaction entre (i) l'acrylamide (ii) l'acide 2-acrylamido 2-méthyl propane sulfonique et (iii) au moins un composé à polyinsaturation oléfinique (agent de réticulation) ledit composé à polyinsaturation oléfinique étant présent dans le copolymère à une concentration comprise entre 0,06 et 1 millimole par mole de l'ensemble des motifs monomères. Elle concerne également des compositions cosmétiques et/ou pharmaceutiques comprenant de telles émulsions.
