A refrigeration system (10) employing a screw compressor (12) and a falling film evaporator (20) makes use of high-side pressure to drive lubricant, which escapes the compressor (12) and collects as a lubricant-rich mixture of lubricant and refrigerant in the system evaporator (20), back to the compressor (12). The mixture is cyclically exposed to high-side pressure for a period of time which (i) varies in accordance with the difference between a sensed condenser-related pressure and a sensed evaporator-related pressure and (ii) is calculated to maintain a predetermined oil concentration in the lubricant-rich mixture in the evaporator (20) so as to minimize the oil return process.

Un système de réfrigération (10) employant un compresseur à vis (12) ainsi qu'un évaporateur à ruissellement (20) a recours à la pression de la partie haute afin d'entraîner un lubrifiant, lequel s'échappe du compresseur (12) et revient sous forme de mélange riche en lubrifiant du lubrifiant et du réfrigérant, dans l'évaporateur (20) du système, dans le compresseur (12). Le mélange est exposé de manière cyclique à une pression dans la partie haute pendant une durée qui (i) varie selon la différence entre la pression détectée liée au condenseur et la pression détectée liée à l'évaporateur, et (ii) est calculée afin de maintenir une concentration d'huile prédéterminée dans le mélange riche en lubrifiant à l'intérieur de l'évaporateur (20), afin de réduire au minimum le processus de retour d'huile.
