The invention relates to a receiver for use in an oil well during a cementing step, to receive a plug which seals off the cement from the interior of the well while the cement hardens. The receiver has a flow limiting flap which restricts the amount of drilling mud which can flow into the well casing while the casing is lowered into the well. The mating plug for the receiver has latches which engage the bottom of the receiver so that the plug cannot be dislodged upwardly.

L'invention porte sur un dispositif de réception utilisé dans un puits de pétrole au cours de travaux de cimentation pour recevoir un bouchon qui isole le ciment de l'intérieur du puits pendant que ce dernier durcit. Le dispositif de réception comporte un clapet limiteur de débit qui restreint la quantité de boue de forage qui peut s'écouler dans le tubage du puits pendant que le tubage est descendu dans le puits. Le bouchon correspondant au dispositif de réception comporte des verrous qui s'engagent dans le fond du dispositif de réception de sorte que le bouchon ne peut être délogé par une force ascendante.
