ABSTRACT According to this invention, there is provided an .alpha.-olefin block copolymer formed by polymerizing first an alkenylsilane and then an .alpha.-olefin in the presence of a stereoregular catalyst. The copolymer is excellent in adhesive property to polar group-containing polymers and metals as well as in rigidity. In addition, molding articles of the copolymer are superb in surface coating property, so that they are useful as materials for adhesion and easy coating.
