-32- ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An improved method for confining chemical treatment agents to areas of application and adjacent areas desired to be treated employing films made from olefin polymers. The olefin polymer film contains derivatives of fatty acid which reduces the permeability of the film as evidenced by reduction in the diffusion rates of the chemical treatment agents through the film. The films are suitably employed as soil fumigation tarpaulins or soil covering materials. -32-
