A process for polymerizing ethylene is disclosed. The process comprises polymerizing ethylene in the presence of a catalyst system which comprises a bridged indenoindolyl transition metal complex on a support material, an alkylalumoxane, a titanium tetralkoxide, and a branched alkyl aluminum compound. The process provides polyethylenes with low density from ethylene alone.

L'invention concerne un processus de polymérisation d'éthylène. Ce processus comprend la polymérisation de l'éthylène en présence d'un système catalyseur qui comprend un complexe métallique de transition d'indénoindolyle ponté sur un matériau de support, un alkylalumoxane, un tetralkoxide de titane, et un composé d'alkyle aluminium branché. Le processus permet d'obtenir des polyéthylènes à faible densité à partir de l'éthylène seul.
