The invention relates to a method for the detection of oligonucleotides using anion exchange high performance liquid chromatography. Fluorescently labelled peptide nucleic acid oligomers, complementary to the oligonucleotide are hybridized to the oligonucleotides. Anion exchange high performance liquid chromatography is then performed and the hybridized moieties detected and quantitated. The invention also relates to a method for the simultaneous detection of both strands of an oligonucleotide in parallel from one sample, and a kit for use in qualitative and quantitative detection of one or two strands of an oligonucleotide

L'invention porte sur un procédé pour la détection d'oligonucléotides utilisant la chromatographie liquide à haute performance par échange d'anions. Des oligomères d'acides nucléiques de peptides marqués de manière fluorescente, complémentaires à l'oligonucléotide, sont hybridés aux oligonucléotides. Une chromatographie liquide à haute performance par échange d'anions est ensuite effectuée et les fractions hybridées sont détectées et quantifiées. L'invention porte également sur un procédé pour la détection simultanée des deux brins d'un oligonucléotide en parallèle à partir d'un échantillon et sur une trousse destinée à être utilisée dans la détection qualitative et quantitative d'un ou deux brins d'un oligonucléotide.
