.omega.-Cycloalkyl-prostaglandin E2 derivatives of formula (I) (see fig. I) wherein R is carboxy or hydroxymethyl; R1 is oxo, methylene or halogen atom; R2 is H, OH or C1-4 alkoxy; R3 is H, C1-8 alkyl, C2-8 alkenyl, C2-8 alkynyl, C1-8 alkyl, C2-8 alkenyl or C2-8 alkynyl substituted by 1-3 substituents selected from halogen atom, C1-4 alkoxy, C3-7 cycloalkyl, phenyl, and phenyl substituted by 1-3 substituents selected from halogen atom, C1-4 alkyl, C1-4 alkoxy, nitro and trifluoromethyl; n is 0-4; and non-toxic salts thereof, prodrugs thereof and cyclodextrin clathrates thereof strongly bind on the EP2 subtype receptor. Therefore, they are useful for prevention and/or treatment of immunological diseases (autoimmune diseases, organ transplantation, etc.), asthma, abnormal bone formation, neuronal cell death, liver damage, abortion, premature birth or retina neuropathy of glaucoma etc.

I) où R est un groupe carboxyle ou hydroxyméthyle; R1 est un groupe oxo ou méthylène ou un atome d'halogène; R2 est H, OH ou un groupe alcoxyle en C1-4; R3 est H, un alkyle en C1-8, un alkényle en C2-8, un alkynyle en C2-8, un alkyle en C1-8, un alkényle en C2-8 ou un alkynyle en C2-8 substitué par 1 à 3 substituants qui peuvent être un atome d'halogène, un alcoxyle en C1-4, un cycloalkyle en C3-7, un phényle et un phényle substitué par 1 à 3 substituants qui peuvent être un atome d'halogène, un alkyle en C1-4, un alcoxyle en C1-4, un groupe nitro et un groupe trifluorométhyle; n correspond à 0-4; et les sels non toxiques de ces derniers, les promédicaments contenant ces derniers et les clathrates de cyclodextrine obtenus avec ces derniers; ces dérivés se fixent fortement au récepteur de sous-type EP2. Par conséquent, ils sont utiles pour la prévention et/ou le traitement des maladies immunes (maladies autoimmunes, transplantation d'organes, etc.), de l'asthme, de l'ostéoformation anormale, de la mort des cellules neuronales, des lésions du foie, de l'avortement, de la naissance prématurée ou de la neuropathie rétinienne liée au glaucome, etc.
