An on-demand two-speed transfer case (Fig. 2) is equipped with a planetary gearset (42) and a range shift mechanism to provide high-range and low-range drive connections. The range shift mechanism is arranged to concurrently move two components of the planetary gearset and can be synchronized to permit on- the-move range shifts.
Cette invention concerne une boîte de transfert à double rapport sur demande munie d'un train épicycloïdal et d'un mécanisme de changement de gamme afin d'obtenir des connexions de transmission gamme haute et gamme basse.
